The Acts comprising this volume were passed in a Session of the Legislature, which commenced on the 19th of October, and terminated on the 28th of December, 1847, during the administration of his Excellency Sir Charles Edward Grey, being the fourth Session after a Dissolution of the Honorable House of Assembly in the year 1844.
