The Women's International Zionist Organization presented the Wizo's Golden Award, to the Honorable Elaine Bloom on May 12th, 1988. The award was presented in recognition for her participation in the WIZO Tribute to Iola Nudel "Guardian Angel" of Soviet Prisoners of Conscience, by Leo Freund, Chairman of WIZO Florida, and Mercedes Ivcher, Vice Chairman of WIZO Florida.
