The Act comprising this Volume were passed in a Session of the Legislature, which commenced on the 28th of October, 1851, and terminated on the 26th February, 1852, during the administration of his Excellency Sir Charles Edward Grey, being the third Annual Session, after a Dissolution of the Honorable House of Assembly in the year 1849.
