The Laws, from 1 to 17, comprised in this Volume, were passed by the Legislative Council of Jamaica, and were assented to from the 28th March to the 21st July, 1877, by the late Honorable Edward Everard Rushworth, Lieutenant Governor, and Laws 18 to 19, also passed by the Legislative Council, were assented to on the 8th October, 1877, by His Excellency Sir Anthony Musgrave, Governor of this Island.
