One of a series of commemorating French revolution medallions; lapidary polished edge; each side dipped in dark blue jasper dipped and decorated in white relief with figures allegorical of abundance and liberty beside a shield of France and below an arch surrounded by inscription: "EN! QUAM SAEPE OPTASTIS LIBERTAS" which translates " Oh How I Have Longed for Freedom"
