The Acts comprising this Volume were passed in three Sessions of the Legislature, the first of which commenced on the 25th of June, and terminated on the 2d of July,1850; the second commenced on the 22d of October, and ended on the 22d of November, 1850, by adjournment to the 10th of December following, but, before the arrival of that day, a third Session was convened on the 28th of November, 1850, by Proclamation, which was eventually closed, by Prorogation, on the 23d of May, 1851, during the administration of his Excellency Sir Charles Edward Grey, being the second Annual Session of Assembly after the General Election in 1849.
