The Act comprising this Volume were passed in a Session of the Legislature, which commenced on the 4th November, 1862, and terminated on the 29th January, 1863, by prorogation, and subsequently by dissolution, on the 31st of the same month, during the administration of his Excellency Edward John Eyre, Esquire, Lieutenant-Governor; being the third Annual Session after a Dissolution of the Honorable House of Assembly in the year 1860.
