On June 3rd, 1999, the Health Council of South Florida presented the Honorable Elaine Bloom with the Health Care Legislative Leadership Award. The award was presented by Board Chair, Carolina Calderin, and Executive Director, Sonya Albury, in sincere appreciation for her commitment and efforts to ensuring the provision of appropriate health care planning and service delivery to all those in her community.
