About This Journal

FIU Law Review is the law student-edited flagship legal scholarly journal for Florida International University College of Law in Miami, Florida. Our main purpose is to publish legal scholarship, providing a forum for the analysis of important and timely legal and policy issues.

FIU Law Review promotes the educational goals of the FIU College of Law by strengthening members’ research, writing, editing, and leadership skills. FIU Law Review publishes articles, essays, lectures, and other scholarly works from professors, practitioners, and students from across the country and around the world. Each year, one volume is published from submissions, single-topic book reviews or FIU Law symposia, and student works.
