Transfer Write-On Process
A transfer student may become a member of FIU Law Review in one of two ways: (1) obtaining a waiver, or (2) completing the Transfer Student Write-On Competition. To inquire about the waiver and the competition, please email the Editor-in-Chief at . Along with Associate Dean Angelique Ortega Fridman, the Editor-in-Chief will provide transfer students with the requirements and procedure to obtain a waiver, or, if necessary, the procedure on how to participate in the Transfer Student Write-On Competition. The Transfer Student Write-On Competition is available to registered students transferring into the 2L Day class. It comprises a Brief Writing portion and a Bluebook Exam portion, to be completed within a one-week window. The completed Brief and Exam are evaluated by an independent professor, and a recommendation is made to the Executive Board. Decisions will be issued no more than two weeks following submission of the competition materials. Inquiries to the Editor-in-Chief must be made by July 31st each year.
Any student who wishes to receive additional information or a copy of the FIU Law Review Constitution & Bylaws may e-mail the Editor-in-Chief at .
