Josiah Wedgwood developed different kinds of pottery. He introduced new materials and blends resulting in new textures and colors, some of them are: Black Basalt, Caneware, Cauliflower ware, Creamware — "Queen's Ware", Encaustic ware, Fairyland Lustre, Jasperware, Rosso Antico, and Variegated Agate.
