Elaine Bloom was the recipient of various accolades throughout her life. On November 15th, 1997, the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce recognized Representative Elaine Bloom as Citizen of the Year and Joy Alschuler Malakoff with the Jan Pfeiffer Distinguished Service Award. The vent was held at the Westin Resort, in Miami Beach, with dining and dancing, featuring the Billy Rolle Orchestra.

On July 25th, 1997, the Florida Bar of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section presented Representative Elaine Bloom with the Distinguished Legislative Service Award.
