Elaine Bloom Awards

Elaine Bloom was the recipient of various accolades throughout her life. As a Representative, Elaine Bloom pioneered laws protecting the rights of the elderly, disabled, to healthcare and transportation as well as sponsored over 100 pieces of legislation. Elaine Bloom was recognized and revered for her generosity, innovativeness, and selflessness. During her tenure as a Representative, she received over 100 awards and continues to garner appreciation as she currently dedicates her time to charitable organizations.

    Award for Wholehearted Commitment

    The Sisterhood of Temple Emanu-El recognized Representative Elaine Bloom for her wholehearted commitment to her synagogue and her people, to her state and her nation on January 21st, 1998. Also included was a quote from Proverbs, "Many daughters have done valiantly but thou excellest them all."

    On November 15th, 1997, the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce recognized Representative Elaine Bloom as Citizen of the Year and Joy Alschuler Malakoff with the Jan Pfeiffer Distinguished Service Award. The vent was held at the Westin Resort, in Miami Beach, with dining and dancing, featuring the Billy Rolle Orchestra.

    On July 25th, 1997, the Florida Bar of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section presented Representative Elaine Bloom with the Distinguished Legislative Service Award. The award was presented in recognition of her outstanding service as a member of the Florida legislature. Such service included advancing Florida's jurisprudence in the fields of real property, probate, and trust law.
