Elaine Bloom was the recipient of various accolades throughout her life. On September 23rd, 1999, the School Board of Dade County, Florida and the Dade Association of School Administrators, honored Representative Elaine Bloom for her outstanding commitment to public education. The award was signed by the Chair of the School Board of Miami-Dade County, Solomon C. Stinson, and the Superintendent of Schools, Roger C.
